Built for the way support work actually runs.

Shifts repeat. Some get cancelled. Some run longer than planned. Some need notes before you forget. Clio handles all of it.

Recurring shifts

Set a shift to repeat weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. Choose how many to create up front. Edit or cancel just one, or the whole series.

Status that updates itself

When a shift ends, Clio knows. The shift moves to “action needed” if you haven't written the note yet, or “completed” once you have. No manual ticking.

Notes and invoices link automatically

Write a note from a shift and the times sync back. Invoice a shift and it's marked done. No double-entry, no manual tracking.

Coloured by participant

Glance at your week and see whose Tuesday, whose Thursday. Each participant gets their own colour so the calendar reads like your week, not a wall of identical cards.

Day, week, fortnight, month

Four views, one source of truth. Zoom in on today, scan the fortnight ahead, or check the month at a glance.

Knows what's left to do

Two cards on the calendar surface: notes to write, invoices to send. Tap them to filter. Clear them by doing the work, not by ticking boxes.

“My shift notes take half the time and contain all the right details thanks to Clio's NDIS specific prompts.”
Wendy, NDIS support worker

Shifts aren't the whole job. Clio isn't just shifts.

The calendar is one of six tools that come with every Clio account. Notes, invoicing, expenses, reports, and tax summary are all in the same app. No second subscription. No double-entry.

Questions? hello@cliocare.com.au

Shift scheduling, asked & answered.

Can I create recurring shifts?
Yes. Pick weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, then choose how many shifts to create up front (default 12, up to 104). Clio creates the whole series in one go. You can edit or cancel just one shift, or the whole series.
What happens when a shift ends?
Clio knows the moment a shift's end time passes. If you haven't written the note yet, it moves to “action needed” so you don't lose track. When you write the note, the shift auto-completes. When you invoice it, same thing. No manual ticking.
Does the calendar link to my notes and invoices?
Yes. Write a note from a shift and the times, date, and service type stay in sync if you edit them on the note. Invoice a shift and Clio remembers, so you don't accidentally invoice it twice. The forward-link works both ways for shifts and invoices created from scratch too.
What if a shift gets cancelled?
Mark it cancelled or no-show with one tap. Cancelled shifts stay visible in the calendar (so you have a record) but render in grey and don't count toward your hours, notes-due, or invoices-due totals.
Can I see multiple participants on the same view?
Yes. Every shift in the calendar grid is colour-coded by participant, so you can scan your week and see whose Tuesday, whose Friday, at a glance. No filtering or toggling needed.
Is it just a calendar, or more?
More. The calendar is one of six tools that come with every Clio account: case notes, invoicing, expenses, reports, tax summary, and the shift calendar itself. Everything links together. No second subscription. See the full toolkit →
