NDIS Price Guide 2026-27 for Support Workers
Every NDIS support item a support worker can bill, with the weekday, evening, night, weekend and public holiday rate on the same row. The official catalogue lists 976 items including equipment, prosthetics and home modifications. This is the 345 that apply to support work.

These are maximum price limits, not set rates.You can charge less than the limit and many independent support workers do. You cannot charge more where a participant is plan-managed or NDIA-managed. Figures shown are the national rates that apply across most of Australia; remote and very remote areas have higher limits.

Rates by time of day
The most common supports, with every time variant side by side. The official catalogue lists these as separate item numbers, so answering “what do I charge on a Sunday” normally means looking up six of them.

Common questions
What is the NDIS price guide?
The NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, still widely called the NDIS price guide, set the maximum a registered or unregistered provider can charge for each support. It is published by the NDIA and updated each year, effective 1 July.
Are these prices what I have to charge?
No. These are maximum price limits, not set rates. You can charge less than the limit, and many independent support workers do. You cannot charge more for a participant whose plan is NDIA-managed or plan-managed.
Why does this page show fewer items than the official catalogue?
The official catalogue has 976 current items, including assistive technology, home modifications, prosthetics and vehicle modifications. This page shows the 345 items a support worker can actually deliver and bill, so you are not reading past equipment codes to find your rate.
What does "quoted" mean next to a price?
A small number of supports have no fixed price limit and are quoted by the provider instead. Assistance from a live-in carer is one example. You agree the price with the participant rather than reading it from the catalogue.
Do these rates change for remote areas?
Yes. The catalogue publishes higher limits for remote and very remote areas. The figures on this page are the national rates that apply in most of Australia.
When do these prices change?
The NDIA publishes updated pricing each year, usually in June, taking effect on 1 July. These figures are from NDIS Support Catalogue 2026-27 v1.1 and apply from 1 July 2026.
